The
Captain
My name
is Likourgos Metallas. I was born in Athens in 1956 and I studied
in Germany to become an engineer.
I started my sailing activity in 1976 and I had my first lessons
in Hamburg.I have been involved in windsurfing and I run for championship
from 1979 to 1984 where I have earned many medals.
From1985 until today I have been involved in the open sea and
I have participated in many sailing races in Greece (Aegean Race,
Archipelagos), as well as abroad. My experience covers not only
the Greek seas but expands through all the eastern Mediterranean
Sea.I am a member of the Pan-Hellenic Skippers Association. I
speak also fluent German and very good English
