Flights
There are charter flights
directly to Corfu, Zante and Preveza (on the mainland, just
a few miles from Lefkas) from nearly every airport in the UK and some
big cities around Europe. If however you are flying from the USA,
Canada, or any other country outside Europe, then you can get
a flight to Athens and from there change to a domestic flight
to the islands.

Travel Insurance
You can get your travel
insurance through your travel agent,
otherwise you should be able to find infirmation at www.Traveler'sTravelInsurance.com.
Money
There are ATM machines in most villages where you can draw money
with your normal bank card and banks in the bigger places where
you can cash traveler's cheques, etc.
Sun Protection
The Mediterranean sun
is very pleasant but can be painful as well, if you sunbathe for too long without protection. You can bring
your cream from the UK otherwise
you will find plenty of choice in the local shops.
We insist that you use
a cream instead of an oily lotion because oil will stain the
teak deck and create slippery surfaces and handholds, which are
dangerous for safety.
Luggage
STORAGE SPACE IS LIMITED
ON YACHTS.
PLEASE DO NOT BRING HARD SUITCASES OR HARD BAGS THAT CANNOT FOLD
AND FIT IN A CUPBOARD.
The ideal is soft, medium
to small size bags which you will either stow
away once you have emptied them, or keep them at one side
in your cabin with your stuff in them.
If you do have to travel with hard suitcases, please contact our
office to see if it is possible to leave them at Lefkas, once
you have emptied the contents in your cupboard.
